| With a BFA in photography and a career as a photojournalist, Rebecca brings an edge and intimacy to her work that you don't find in most photographers. Her work is thoughtful and she possesses an ability to capture the ever elusive "decisive moment". She is the Society photographer for the Washington Post currently producing and photographing "The Scene", and she photographed an environmental portrait column with The Washington Post titled "Life is Short" that ran for eight years. Her work has appeared in numerous pulbications including National Geographic Traveler, NY TImes, Ebony and Imbibe. Rebecca's images, "Katrina: 8 months after the storm", are in the permanent collection of the Library of Congress. She has two self-pulbished books. "Celebration: Inside the Beltway" and "Portraits: In the Family Way". Her photography and mixed media has been shown in galleries in Washington DC, NYC, Asheville, NC, Albuquerque NM and Richmond, VA. Her editorial website is www.rebeccadangelo.com.
